I want to track lay in premiere pro 1.5 and mix on digidesign pro tools (Obviously these software packages will be on two different computers.)

According to a FAQ I read on the Premiere pro 1.5's features, you can:

"Assign multiple input/output ports for audio recording and playback with support for ASIO hardware cards.
Integrate with existing studios and connect to audio editing systems like Digidesign Pro Tools."

Could anyone offer an opinion on how I might best "Integrate with existing studios and connect to audio editing systems like Digidesign Pro Tools"?

The Premiere system has a generic, stereo, built-into-the-motherboard soundcard.

The Pro tools system has a virile ASIO soundcard, a covetable mixing desk and all the trimmings.
